Metroline CELF Centre Part 12.... More VWs

VW1059 LK60AED on delivery to AH (Brentford) at CELF Centre in Perivale. Big thanks to the driver for stopping and allowing me to take such a nice picture of a truly amazing looking bus. I can't wait to see more of these in Metroline's fleet.

The new VWs are part of a batch of 17 buses that were ordered in 2009 for premeditated delivery and use on the Route E2 in November 2010. Numbered between 1056 - 1072, they will allow TE976 - 992 to be shifted to Cricklewood Garage for use on the Route 210. Once more of these VWs are commissioned it will allow more TEs to be gradually transferred over and the completion of this should be done by January 2011. Alhtough in my eyes the VWs were the stars of the show, there were other things to note here today such as an ex First London Dennis Marshall and an all white Plaxton Pointer Dart which seems to have come back from Dawson's rentals in Milton Keynes for one reason or another.
