Picture of the Week [W/E - 20.03.2014]

3991 - GN07 DLZ is seen here at Harrow Bus Station whilst operating on one of four Harrow circular routes: H19, H9 and H10 being the others.

This bus has recently transferred from Arriva Kent Thameside which operated on Route 286 to Arriva the Shires Garston Garage. It is longer than its counterparts: 3811-3817 and it isnt refurbished. This was a temporary transfer because 3991 is now back at Arriva Kent Thameside.

Primarily, it was used to fill up the shortage of buses at Garston. Some of their Wright Cadets have also been operating on Hertfordshire Routes 8 and 324. It had white on black blinds at the front and the yellow on black blinds at the rear.

Well that would be an odd combination. Do GR still put out Plaxton Pointer 1s on Herfordshire route 8 or do they use different vehicles.

There was a London Wright Cadet on the 324 / 8 everyday last week, hence the transfer. I believe the 8 is normally operates different types of vehicles. Ive seen double and single decks on that route, but Im not 100percent sure.
