DLP16 is Arriva Wandsworth for The Original Tour.This is the same vehicle that was pictured in Arriva North East Jesmond depot a month or so back.I presume it has had it mechanical upgrade and is here for open top conversion.
Looks like they've added an extra tank on the side of DLP16 - has it had an engine conversion and it's an AdBlue one? :)
Yep, that is most certainly an AdBlue tank. Its probably had a Euro4 upgrade as well as the mechanical upgrade.
The other 14 TOT DLPs had Euro5 engines fitted which require AdBlue - so presume DLP16 has had a similar engine change.
It'd be good if Arriva could re-engine their DLA's that are still in London ie the Y reg ones :)Pls post a pic of the finished article after its conversion :)
